Welcome to the CNGC Grounds Blog

Our Green Superintendent, Ian Thomas will post to this blog projects and updates
regarding the golf course and grounds of the Club.

Aeration

Despite the somewhat ominous forecast, Aeration Went well.  3/4 inch tines were used in the fairways and 1/2 inch on the greens.  With mother natures help the holes should close up quickly.

We were able to complete the front 9 fairways and greens on Monday and the back 9 on Tuesday.

Wednesday was spent doing a final cleanup and starting tees.  The weather was wet in the morning with little sunlight.  Only 1 thru 4 tees were completed with the rest scheduled for monday the 21st.
