Welcome to the CNGC Grounds Blog
Our Green Superintendent, Ian Thomas will post to this blog projects and updates
regarding the golf course and grounds of the Club.
annual native grass mowing
It’s that time of year again when the native grass areas are mowed down. We do this to knock down weeds, remove woody plants, and to help fill in bare ground. The tractor with Brush bull has been mowing on the course during dry days with the crew following behind using weed whackers and hedge trimmers to knock down steep banks and hard to reach areas. The majority of tractor work is complete with hand work on going as time permits throughout the fall.
